Ceramic Artist
Gretchen has been working with clay for over 30 years; teaching and creating. Gretchen is currently on the Visual Arts Department at Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, but also teaches and is a staff member at The Potter's Shop and School in Needham. Gretchen also teaches at Motherbrook Arts Center in Dedham, Belmont Hill Summer School in Belmont, and has taught at the Rivers School in Weston. Gretchen tries not to commit to any one styleor design since she is constantly exploring new approaches to clay by nature of the many environments in which she practices and teaches.
Being a part of The Switch is an exciting way to display and sell work in a community setting with other artists. Gretchen lives in West Roxbury with her two boys.
