Jed is a recently self-discovered artist who has been working in acrylic, gouache and watercolor since mid 2016. He started painting at 54 having not picked up a paint brush since grade school. He has learned from books, magazines and as he calls it, “the University of YouTube”. Jed paints a variety of subjects including seashore and wharves, portraiture, bridges and neighborhoods, but his biggest “draw” is the urban landscape.
Jed is a member of Boston’s Copley Society of Art and Gloucester’s North Shore Arts Association. Locally, he has exhibited at the Switch, the Milton and Newton libraries and at a variety of local businesses. He lives in Milton with his wife Liddie, their sons David and Cole and their two cats, Thunder and Lightning.
